Vaastu Shanti Puja is a Hindu ritual that is performed to bless a new home or office and to seek the blessings of the deities for a peaceful and harmonious living or working environment. 

The Vastu Shanti Puja is usually performed by a Hindu priest or an expert in Vedic astrology. It involves the recitation of mantras, the offering of various items like flowers, fruits, and grains to the gods and goddesses, and the lighting of a sacred fire known as Agni.

The puja starts with invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, who is considered the remover of obstacles. This is followed by invoking the Gods and Goddesses, seeking their blessings for the well-being of the new occupants of the house or office.

Materials Required:

• Kalash (water vessel)
• Mango leaves
• Coconut
• Panchamrut (mixture of milk, yogurt, honey, sugar, and ghee)
• Turmeric powder
• Kumkum (vermilion)
• Sandalwood powder or paste
• Agni (fire)
• Camphor
• Flowers
• Fruits
• Betel leaves and nuts
• Incense sticks
• Coconut oil
• Cow’s milk

Puja Procedure:

1. Choose an auspicious day and time for the Puja, as per the Hindu calendar.
2. Clean the house or office and decorate it with flowers and rangoli.
3. Place the Kalash filled with water and mango leaves in the center of the Puja area.
4. Place the coconut on top of the Kalash and tie a red or yellow cloth around it.
5. Place the Panchamrut, turmeric powder, Kumkum, sandalwood powder or paste, flowers, fruits, betel leaves and nuts, incense sticks, and camphor in front of the Kalash.
6. Light the Agni and offer camphor and coconut oil to it.
7. Offer the Panchamrut, turmeric powder, Kumkum, sandalwood powder or paste, flowers, fruits, betel leaves and nuts, and incense sticks to the deities while chanting their names and mantras.
8. Sprinkle cow’s milk around the house or office while chanting mantras to purify the environment.
9. Offer prayers to Lord Ganesha, Lord Vishnu, and other deities as per your tradition and beliefs.
10. Finally, distribute the Prasad (offerings) to everyone present.
