Natural Larimar is a rare blue variety of Pectolite with the formula NaCa₂Si₃O₈(OH), sourced from the Barahona region of the Dominican Republic. Its pale to deep-blue color is associated with small amounts of copper, while natural white patterns give many polished stones their characteristic ocean-like appearance. Larimar is widely used for cabochons, pendants, earrings, beads, bracelets and collectible gemstone jewelry.
